Sonology Discussion Concert 2, 11 December 2019

We would like to invite you for the second Sonology Discussion Concert of the Academic Year 2019–2020 on Wednesday 11 December 2019. We have fixed media pieces by Suhmi Chung, Ernests Vilsons, Anni Nöps and Aleksandar Koruga, a live electronics performance by Simone Sacchi, improvised music with the Sonology Electroacoustic Ensemble and a piece for six (6!) harps, bass recorder and electronics by Julian Maple Oliveira.
The concert will start at 19:30. Admission and drinks are free.

10 years of partnership with GRM

Today it is 10 years ago that a partnership agreement between the Groupe de Recherches Musicales and the Institute of Sonology was signed by Daniel Teruggi, Henk van der Meulen and Kees Tazelaar.

Extra Sonology Concert on 1 November 2019

We would like to invite you for an extra concert, which will present the results of a five-day intensive workshop with the Sonology Electroacoustic Ensemble, supervised by FURT (Richard Barrett & Paul Obermayer). Students from Sonology, ArtScience and Composition and FURT will perform improvised music with instruments and electronics in various formations.

As always, the concert starts at 19:30 and entrance and drinks are free.

Sonology Concert at GRM on 18 October 2019

Sonology staff members Justin Bennett, Raviv Ganchrow, Bjarni Gunnarsson, Ji Youn Kang, Johan van Kreij, Gabriel Paiuk and Kees Tazelaar will present a concert with acousmatic works by themselves and Richard Barrett, Marie Guilleray, Gottfried Michael Koenig and Jaap Vink on 18 October 2019 at MPAA Saint-Germain.
