A critical appraisal of the possible relationships between acoustic and electronic media is a subject within several courses at the Institute of Sonology. Throughout the study of the history of experimental and avant-garde musical practices as well as in music theory courses, a creative perspective into the material and cultural interaction between acoustic instruments and diverse instances of electronic media performance is investigated.
