The New Music Lab at Amare is the successor of the Varèsezaal in the conservatoire’s old building. The New Music Lab has an Amadeus 12-channel loudspeaker system, an Allen & Heath SQ7 mixing desk, an 86-inch screen with whiteboard function, a Panasonic RCQ10 projector and a 6-metre wide projection screen.
